Of course the human figure appears in my work, sometimes only nominally realistic, sometimes a bit more so. Recently I have been working with correctly proportioned but otherwise abstracted 3-dimensional figures.
Most of my work is small scale, although I yearn to work a bit larger. Regardless my figures often border on the fantastical, and may appear as troubled angels, mythic skeletons, and are often troubled souls.
