Holiday fun in art class yesterday
Our five minute warmup took all evening! Too much fun! And can you guess which of these are mine? There is work from three other artists in here.

Finally trimmed out:
Sixteen months after installing this board to cover unwanted glass in a RoseWind Common House door, I have finally added trim around the edgest to cover the framing points and give it a more finished look! My trimwork is very makeshift, but it does look much better than before.

Two Small Expressions
Two of my art pieces have been accepted in the December juried exhibit at Northwind Arts Center. This show opens Friday, December 6 at noon, and the Opening Reception is during Port Townsend Art Walk on December 7 – 5:30 to 8 pm. Juror Michael McCollum gives an Art Talk on December 15 at 1 pm.

Itchy for art? Scratch it!
These are three very small pieces on lightweight scratch “board”. This is really just a stiff paper that has an easily removed matte black coating. It is very fun to work with, and creates a dramatic high contrast result.
