I have finally setup my summer stone carving arrangements, and even managed to get started on a scrap of marginally alabaster just for fun:

Magic wands were selected and distributed last Sunday, and later the same day I realized that I had not anticipated the consequences of this project. There was a knock on the door of my studio, and a wand owner brandished her wand in both hands (i.e. in two pieces:-)). So there is a new sign on my studio door, and one repaired wand waiting to picked up by the young magician:
