The fourth work in my Conversation series, which are small figure groupings, was initially called Shell Game.  But it was bothering me:  it just did not satisfy me.  Something was wrong, it was empty in the center, and I did not like it.

Now it has a brand new title:   Conversation IV:  Sculpture Park.

It turns out that this piece is not a game piece at all. Rather this Conversation is set in a sculpture park!  Changes have been made, and I think it is almost there.  It is much more pleasing to me now, and I am nearly ready to permanently install the egg sculpture in the center, and to add a few final details.

I think this piece can still be out of doors, but should be installed with overhead shelter. It will be best kept mostly dry and out of the noon day sun, if the painted details are to last at all.

Remember these two little clay men?  Finally they are reproduced in  (slightly) more durable materials. I have them both in RapidSet Mortar mix, and also one in epoxy resin, the other in a polyurethane resin.  All are still rather fragile, but much less squishy!
