More updating: reworked paper mache
Bones over bones
This has multiple printing of a poly litho plate over those four linocuts I am currently obsessing with. Not sure if this will resolve into a finished work: I over inked the lino plates, and switched the position of the top two plates, so this may never satisfy! TBD
I am still enjoying this piece, and have added more as shown below: more color fill makes the overlaid bones into a more substantial “body”, and the red-green contrast wakes it up a bit. The second scan is duller than the reality, which has two shades of green.
And I am still working on this:
Combining the old with the new
Re-use for wine “foils”
Walking Bones take me far!
This project has taken me a long way! And maybe more to come… I am using (amusing?) four lino cut plates, then working them in different directions. No simple print has worked alone, but I am Mixed Media therefore I have fun… I really enjoy the working back into a piece, altering it, improving it, trying NOT to destroy it, and transforming it until it really satisfies me! This one is not quite done, but it is getting there. It is fourth full size work from this set that is complete, or almost so. Oh, and I love a digital spin-off from one of them so that makes five!
